December 28, 2012 - The attorney for former Erie County Councilman Ebert Beeman is asking to be withdrawn as Beeman's lawyer.

Attorney Jeffrey Del Fuoco filed a court motion yesterday asking to be removed as Beeman's counsel because of a conflict.

Del Fuoco is the second cousin of Edward Dimattio Jr., who was recently appointed to Erie County Council as Beeman's replacement.

Del Fuoco has also asked for a judge to appoint a lawyer to Beeman so he doesn't go without counsel.
