Teenager Charged for Allegedly Assaulting Roommate

    January 2, 2013 - An Erie woman is in jail and faces charges after reportedly assaulting her roommate.

    Chelsea Tate, 19, allegedly tied up her roommate, beat her with a metal rod and held a box cutter to her neck.

According to the criminal complaint, the two were roommates.

Tate faces charges including aggravated assault and unlawful restraint.
