JANUARY 9, 2013- Restoring order to Erie County's prison... That's the goal of County Executive Barry Grossman's prison review...

Two consultants from the National Institution of Corrections have been working on this study since January 7th...

The study began after a slew of problems were reported within the prison involving both staffers and prisoners...

Today, Grossman shared the progress of the study...

He tells us consultants interviewed prison staff, prisoners, toured the facility and evaluated mental health of those inside...

Consultants reported the facility is organized, the staff cooperated... They're professional and knowledgeable.

Grossman says the study will be released publicly in two weeks.
