JANUARY 20, 2013- And the youth of our city used today as a day of expression and a way to pay homage to the great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

More than 200 people came out to the ErieArt Museum for the annual "Day of Expression."

The event is held each year so the youth can express themselves through artwork, song and dance.

Officials from the Youth Leadership of Erie say the growth of this event has been impressive over the years and shows how MLK has impacted our city.

In addition, scholarships were awarded for those presenting their best forms of Martin Luther King Jr art work.
