January 28, 2013- A call for police to investigate a domestic assault may have turned up a methamphetamine operation.
Albion Borough Police went to a house on South Water Street looking for a domestic violence victim. They found a woman bleeding from a minor stab wound , and a second victim, with multiple stab wounds.
That man, identified by police as John Dickey of Conneaut Ohio, was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Investigators from the Attorney General's office and Pennsylvania State Police, working on information developed in interviews with the victims, found evidence they think is consistent with a methamphetamine operation.
Police arrested 31 year old Dustin Hill, who lives at the house on South Water street, and charged him with assault in the case.
Charges for the suspected methamphetamine operation are pending.
