February 4, 2013 - Fire officials have determined what caused a fire in a Wesleyville home overnight.

Wesleyville fire fighters say the fire at 2051 Riverside Drive started in the area of a clothes dryer.

Shortly before 1am, Wesleyville fire fighters were called to that address for reports of a structure fire.

Numerous fire crews were on the scene within minutes and battled the blaze until close to 4am.

Fire officials say they had to contact Erie Water Works for more water pressure because crews were in a defensive operation.

There was significant damage to the house.
