One Charged in Beer Store Robbery

February 7, 2013 - One person is being charged following the attempted robbery of an east side business.

Erie Police were called to Ace Beer Distributor on Pennsylvania Avenue.

It was just before 7:00pm when two men reportedly entered the store. One was holding a handgun.

The suspects took off on foot, going in different directions.

Police tell us they have charged a suspect with numerous charges including robbery.

He'll be arraigned in the morning

We're told they are still looking for another suspect.

About $65.00 was taken.
