The sounds of bagpipes and drums filled the air tonight at Rainbow Gardens.

The 61st annual Tartan Ball  featured the pipes and drums of Erepa Grotto, and this year, the guest band was the Thorold Pipe Band from Welland Ontario.

This is the first time since 1999 that a guest band has been from Canada and that led to this years theme of Hands Across The Border.

The event raises money for the benefit charities that help children with special needs.
