We should find out later today who the new deputy warden will be at the Erie County Prison.

County Council finance members discussed the new position at a meeting yesterday.
They say one of the 3 candidates has been chosen.

This person will have a salary of 70 thousand dollars and will work under James Veshecho until Veshecho retires.

The new deputy warden will be announced today at 2 pm.
County Executive Barry Grossman will make that announcement.
