It's the first day of spring, but you wouldn't know it by stepping outside into the cold temperatures.
Spring officially started at 7:02 this morning, but it seems like mother nature has other plans.

The snow, cold and wind have continued through the day.
The early morning snow had PennDot crews out plowing and salting to ease the morning commute.

Along Presque Isle Bay this afternoon, the snow stopped for awhile, and the sun was peeking out.

The cold hasn't stopped people from getting out of the house today.
We found an avid bird watcher who says both he and the birds are ready for spring weather.
On the first day of spring last year, it was about 70 degrees.
