Pennsylvania Attorney General Tom Corbett was in Erie Friday, revealing his energy policy as he campaigns for Governor.
Corbett kicked off this energy announcement in Erie at the bio-diesel plant, Hero BX.
He took a tour of the plant and talked to experts about the future of bio-diesel as an energy source.
If elected Pennsylvania Governor, one of Corbett's top priorities is to reduce dependency on foreign oil.
"We have the second largest energy field in the world, we should be able to do it cheaper, more efficiently, and you have to look at all the alternatives. One of the alternatives, in addition to the natural gas we have, in addition to wind, in addition to geothermal, is bio-diesel," said Tom Corbett (R) PA Gubernatorial Candidate.
Corbett also says if elected he will add a senior executive in his office to head-up his energy policy.
